Presentation Methods
Presentation Form
Future-Learning 2022 will feature various presentation methods, utilising the latest technology to make sure that
the audience is exposed to the most relevant content and is not bound by geographical limitations.
Additionally, by 04 November 2022, Friday, authors are responsible of submitting the final copy of
their presentation and/or required materials (audio, visuals, files, etc.) via e-mail or share on cloud.
Oral Presentation
Oral presentations are given at the venue of the event.
The presenter is physically present to deliver a verbal presentation to the audience.
Most of the presenters choose to supplement their speech with a series of slides.
Presentation preparation checklist:
- Submit the final copy of the presentation by the deadline given to you by the organisers (04 November 2022, Friday).
- Be on-site and available at least 30 minutes before your presentation.
- Have a copy of your presentation on a USB device.
- Ensure your presentation is compatible with a Windows operating system. Should your presentation require any specific technical set-up (e.g. different operating system), contact the organisers with your needs and make sure you get a confirmation that the needs can be accommodated.
- Label the presentation on your device with your name, presentation day, and time.
Please note that technical issues may arise on-site before, during, or after your presentation. While the organising committee goes above and beyond to make sure this doesn’t happen, in the event that it does, the organising committee can not be held responsible.
Technical assistance:
For your presentation you will be provided with the following equipment:
- A laptop
- A projector
- A smart pointer
- Technical assistants on-site
Virtual Presentation
The virtual presentation opens doors for the presentation and publication of your paper without physically attending the conference.
Similar to regular presentations, all accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceeding and Conference Book of Abstracts with ISBN number.
Virtual presenters will also be awarded a Certificate and their papers will be considered for publication.
To make sure the virtual presentation goes smoothly, authors are required to:
• Be online and available 15 minutes before the presentation,
• Have a reliable and fast internet connection,
• Test your microphone and video camera,
• Test your slides and make sure they are compatible with a Windows operating system,
• Have a non-distracting environment around you during the presentation. The room you are using should be both quiet and the background used as plain as possible.
